Studio Alexander von Dombois creates functional and thoughtfully designed products for everyday life, with a focus on sustainability and material integrity. 
Founded by Alexander von Dombois – born in South Africa and raised in Germany – the studio draws on a wide range of creative experiences, from graphic design to sustainable product design.

The studio’s work is inspired by traditional arts and crafts, with a particular affinity for wood and metal. Each project reflects a hands-on approach: exploring new materials, understanding craft techniques, and applying them in ways that are both practical and aesthetically compelling.
In addition to his own projects, Alexander has collaborated with renowned studios including Studio KaschKasch and Gerdesmeyer Krohn, bringing this experience into the studio’s distinctive design language.
