Design returns as protagonist with Fuorisalone.

“Connected worlds” is the theme suggested by Fuorisalone.it with the aim of promoting a design culture oriented to the development of new technologies and hybridisation of skills and knowledge.

In conjunction with Salone del Mobile, Milan comes back as protagonist with Fuorisalone, which offers a calendar full of events, exhibitions and installations throughout the city. Design Week has now become an unavoidable meeting for design world key players, designers, architects and creatives as well as schools, universities and institutions gathering in Milan to share ideas which interpret the present imagining our future. This year, the countless proposals and hands-on experiments talk about not only sustainability, but also new forms of AI, hybridisation, and sharing skills between researches applied on materials, new visions on living, contaminations between physical and digital, participatory design: all of them are the concepts the theme of Fuorisalone 2025 pivots on.

“Connected Worlds” - Interactivity and Immersion in Design for a Connected World

The theme “Connected Worlds” is an invitation to reflect on how design could play a crucial role in connecting different dimensions of our lives, from the natural environment to advanced technologies, from cultural traditions to innovations in every field. The theme promotes a sense of unity and global cooperation through a communication campaign by the Prompt Designer, Silvia Badalotti, where the protagonists are three subjects thought to emphasise the relationship between people, technology and nature.
